Our area has so many fall festivities for the fall, but if you are wanting to get out of town, there are a number of fun events within a 2-hour drive of Bradenton. Below are our favorites!
Mickey's Not-so-Scary Halloween Party (Orlando)
Select dates August 12 - October 31
Celebrate after the park closes with this annual event featuring trick or treating throughout the park, rides, seasonal food and drink, special decor, lighting and music, character sightings, live entertainment and more.
Busch Garden's Spooktacular (Tampa)
Saturdays and Sundays September 10 - October 30
At Busch Gardens’ all-new Spooktacular, guests will step into a whimsical world full of enchantment with Kandy, a witch-in-training! A costume parade, story time and trick or treating are some of the activities guests will find in this immersive Halloween experience. Busch Gardens’ Spooktacular will be casting magical spells from 12 – 4 p.m. at the Festival Walkway. Included with the price of admission.
SeaWorld's Halloween Spooktacular (Orlando)

SeaWorld’s Spooktacular is back with spooky surprises, candy, costumes and more! Kids love trick-or-treating during this daytime event as they explore our decorated trail and meet colorful characters. This year be sure to check out all our immersive family Spooktacular Festivities and plan your visit this fall. SeaWorld Spooktacular is included with park admission.
LEGOLand's Brick or Treat (Winter Park)

Our signature Halloween event is better than ever this year! Brick-or-Treat will bewitch LEGOLAND® Florida Resort with tons of candy, an all-new show line up, never-before-seen exclusive LEGO® characters, and more!
Screamin' Green Hauntoween (Orlando)
September 24 - October 31
Join our crayon crew on their quest to discover rare, Halloween colors and meet monster-ific characters as you go! To find them all, you’ll journey into an ancient Pharaoh’s tomb, creep through a spooktacular forest and more all while creating WITCHtacular crafts! Plus, on the weekends enjoy a DJ dance party from 12pm - 4pm and trick-or-treating! Guests are welcome to dress-up, however no costume masks are allowed. There is so much to "BOO", you may never want to leave. ALL Included with general admission.
Springtime Farms 2022 Fall Festival (Fort Myers)

The 11th Annual Fox Squirrel Corn Maze (Plant City)
Saturdays and Sundays October 1-23
Festival features a corn maze, pumpkins for sale, hayrides, games, food, pony rides, a playground, farm animals, live music, vendors and simply enjoying the great outdoors. Ticket prices are $11+ for adults, $10+ for youth (ages 3 to 17) and free for children 2 and under. Free parking.
HarvestMoon Fun Farm's Fall Festival 2022(Brooksville)
October 1 - November 6
Come get lost in our 5-acre corn maze design featuring Wizard of Oz, don’t miss out on the Candy Cannon Blast throughout the day. Live entertainment such as the Moogician and Distinguished Daredevils every weekend in October. Check out our interactive “not so scary” hay wagon ride. Farm activities included are the 70ft Jumping Pillow, Ball Toss, Pedal Carts, Pony Hops, Cow Train, Hill Slide, Pumpkin Patch and so much more. Don’t forget to visit the Nigerian Dwarf Goats in the petting farm, lots of new photo’s ops and barnyard games. Additional fee for Swing Ride and Gem Mining. Looking for something a little scarier? Come check our Haunted Trails at Night, who knows what’s lurking in the dark.
Pirate Water Taxi Haunted Tours (Tampa)

After taking a year off, Haunted Tours are back! We have an all-new crew of haunted storytellers sharing well-known tales of terror and Tampa’s eerie past! The cruise will include terror filled-storytelling, ghostly horror, and haunted happenings on this 45-minute storytelling ride aboard one of Tampa’s most popular attractions.
St Pete Pier Fall Festival (St Petersburg)
October 8-9
Kick off the Fall Season on the St Pete Pier with the Fall Festival, featuring family friendly entertainment, activities, food vendors, games/rides, and the area's only waterfront pumpkin patch.
Boos and Bubbles (Clearwater)
October 14-15, 21-22, 28-29
This high-spirited event will be packed with playful poltergeists, giggling ghosts and silly specters… plus billions of bubbles. Families will be able to celebrate Halloween by dancing at the “Bubble Party” hosted by DJ Boo! Guest and ghosts will meet and mingle throughout this fall festival, creating photo opportunities that have never been seen in this realm of existence. Float on by for some festive family fun at Boos and Bubbles! Included with admission after 4PM.
The DeSoto County Fair's Fall Festival (Arcadia)
Every Thursday through Saturday in October starting October 20
Enjoy games, costume contests, cook-offs, pageants, crafts, races, and - of course - the ever popular DeSoto Spookyard has returned! Fun for ALL ages $7 admission.
Haunted Woods (Thonotosassa)
October 21
Bring the whole family and come walk through our Haunted Woods for a scary, fun time, including the Haunted Woods Trail and costume contests. $10 for ages 13+, children 12 and under are free!
Halloween Notte (Port Charlotte)
October 21-23, 28-31
Enjoy haunted houses, food, games, pony rides, a pumpkin patch, live entertainment, zombie paintball, vendors, hayrides, ghost stories and more.
Family Fest at Padgett Ranch(Arcadia)
October 29-30, November 5-6, 12-13
Enjoy quality family time with the giant bounce pillow, hayrides, barrel train rides, corn box, obstacle course, playgrounds, vendors and more! 10AM to 5PM. Admission is $8 for ages 3 to 11 and $10 for 12 and up. Free parking.
