Center Montessori School offers Summer Fun Camp Experiences at their Main and LWR Campuses. Your child will experience summer camp in a Montessori classroom with trained teachers and assistants, and fun weekly themes. 

Summer camp programs are for children ages 18 months through 3 years of age (Nest Camp), 3 years through 5 years of age (Primary Camp) and 1st through 3rd grade (Elementary 1 Camp). Center Montessori has two campuses to serve you:

• Main Campus at 6024 26th Street W Bradenton
• LWR Campus at 12705 SR 64 E Bradenton

Primary Camps are available at both campuses. Nest and Elementary Camps are only held at the Main Campus. All camps are 8:30AM to 12:30PM (half day - $175 per week) or 8:30AM to 3PM (full day - $225 per week).  See the enrollment forms on the website for availability at each location.  

NEST CAMP OPTIONS

(For children ages 18 months through 3 years old)

• Half Day (8:30AM to 12:30PM) $175 per week
• Full Day (8:30AM to 3PM) $225 per week.  
• Camps are held weekly June 2 through August 1.  There is no camp the week of June 30.

PRIMARY MAIN CAMPUS 

(For children ages 3 to 5)

• June 2-6 Under the Sea: Students will dive into the amazing world of marine life while creating ocean themed art and activities.  
• June 9-13 Eric Carle Week: Let’s delight at exploring the colorful world of Eric Carle.   Each day will be filled with opportunities to delve into Carle’s engaging stories and much-loved books.  The children will participate in related art making activities and fun projects that promise to keep them excited about learning.  
• June 16-20 Famous Paintings: Calling all Art appreciators!  We are going on a discovery of famous paintings.  Your child will engage his/her keen observation skills as we dive into a hands-on exploration of several masterpieces.  Be warned: A visit to an art museum may be in order for your family as an after effect of this week! 
• June 23-27 Nature Exploration: Join us for a week enjoying and exploring nature and natural sciences.  We will visit our school’s Peace Garden as we take nature walks at school and have a nature scavenger hunt, make sun catchers and bird feeders and practice mediation outside!  
• June 30-July 3 Fourth of July Celebration: Celebrate USA! This week we will makr  flags to fly in our classroom, enjoy firework art and have a red, white and blue glowstick dance party. We will end the week making and enjoying a birthday cake for the USA!    
• July 7-11 Art Adventure: Children love art! This week will offer hands-on art projects that primary students can do and enjoy.  
• July 14-18 Science and Experiments Week: Science is fun! We will learn how to grow crystals, predict and test what objects will sink or float, make volcanoes and much more.  It will be a week of experiments for our young scientists.  
• July 21-25 Water Week: Come dressed each day in your bathing suit for a week filled with old-fashioned water fun.  Students should be sent to camp in their bathing suit with sunscreen applied prior to arriving at camp. Please send water shoes, a towel and a change of clothes daily.  
• July 28-August 1 Exploring Music and Movement: Join us as we delve into the world of music through movement and the discovery of musical instruments.  We will enjoy soothing sounds for meditation and energizing dance music, as we explore how different instruments create a variety of sounds.

PRIMARY LAKEWOOD RANCH CAMPUS

(For children ages 3 to 5)

• June 2-6 Outer Space: Calling all astronauts!  This week we will be blasting off as we learn about space.  We will create a solar system mobile and other out of this world crafts!  
• June 9-13 Jurassic Adventure: Do you have a budding paleontologist? This week we will learn about different types of dinosaurs. We will enjoy dinosaur crafts, search for dinosaur eggs and finish the week with a dinosaur fossil hunt.  
• June 16-20 Going Green: Trash to treasures!  Each day this week the children will be making art using different types of recycled materials.  
• June 23-27 Science is Fun:  Calling all scientists!  Join us this week for experiments that will blow your mind! Every day the children will have an experience being a part of a science experiment, from making volcanoes to making small parachutes that the children can test on the playground.

ELEMENTARY MAIN CAMPUS

(For children in 1st - 3rd grade)

• June 2-6 Cooking: The children will be cooking their own lunch this week! They will prepare healthy, delicious foods to enjoy at camp and will play games outside.   
• June 9-13 Science Week: Your child will have the opportunity to become a Mad Scientist complete with fizzing and bubbling chemical reactions! Learning and experimenting are fun!  
• June 16-20 Drama Camp:  Lights, Camera, Action!  Calling all actors.  Join us this week for acting, dancing, singing and other theater skills.  This camp can help build confidence and creativity.  
• June 23-27 Water Week: Come dressed each day in your bathing suit for a week filled with water fun. Please bring water shoes, sunscreen, a towel and a change of clothes.  
• July 7-11 Art Adventure: Children love art! This week we will teach your child new art skills and produce artwork you will want to display at home.
