Dec 1 - The Manger Project - The Manger Project is a brand new fun and interactive Christmas tradition that will help families focus on the true meaning of Christmas while building a manger together. Free event but registration is required. Hosted by Woodland Community Church. (2PM to 4PM).
Dec 6 - Creativity Night for Kids - Kids ages 5 and up, join A&S Studios in painting a Cookies for Santa square plate. Starts at $30. (6PM to 8PM).
Dec 7 - Peppermint Party and Candy Cane Hunt - Enjoy a scavenger hunt through The Children's Garden and Art Center and make holiday crafts. Register in advance! (10AM to 10:30AM).
Dec 7 - Gingerbread House Making - Build and decorate a gingerbread house and compete for prizes. Register by November 29. $15 per house. (10AM to 11AM).
Dec 10 - Make Ornaments - Join Island Branch Library to make some Seashell Ornaments. (2PM to 4PM).
Dec 11 - Lecture: Father Christmas, Charles Dickens - Take a deeper look inside The Christmas Carol and it's author. (1PM to 2PM).
Dec 11 - Culver's Cookie Decorating Party - Hosted by Culvers and Cookie University. Enjoy FREE cookie decorating (while supplies last) and $2.99 kids meals. (4PM to 8PM).
Dec 11-12 - Mornings with Mommy - This month's theme is Happy Birthday Jesus. (9:30AM to 10:30AM).
Dec 13 - Creativity Night for Kids - Kids ages 5 and up, join A&S Studios in an Ornament Painting Party. Starts at $30. (6PM to 8PM).
Dec 14 - Hour of Code: The Grinch - Program drones and a high-tech sleigh to capture presents and navigate down the mountain to return Christmas to Whoville. (3PM to 4PM).
Dec 14 - Make & Take Christmas Ornaments - Make some magical, sequin and glitter filled ornaments to trim your tree with! (10AM to 4PM).
Dec 15 - Elf Workshop - Write and send a letter to Santa, make yummy treats and crafts. Hosted by The Children's Garden and Art Center. (10AM to 12PM).
Dec 16 - Ornament Making - Make recycled Christmas ornaments. (5PM to 8PM - Downtown Bradenton).
Dec 18 - Ornament Making - Make recycled Christmas ornaments. (1PM to 3PM - Rocky Bluff Library).
Dec 19 - Ornament Making - Event for tweens to make Chihuly-inspired ornaments. (6PM to 7:30PM - Braden River Library).
Dec 20 - Creativity Night for Kids - Kids ages 5 and up, join A&S Studios in painting a Christmas Family Moose canvas. Starts at $30. (6PM to 8PM).
Dec 21 - Painting with Santa - Free ornament painting with Santa, plus live music and happy hour specials at the Ugly Grouper. (Santa from 12PM to 4PM).
