Students love comics! And so do educators who use them! In this workshop, you’ll learn to use materials students love to help them master Reading and Writing concepts! Participants in this workshop will receive information regarding the effectiveness of comics for different types of learners, tips on selecting age/subject-appropriate comics, sample lesson plans, tools for discussing the educational value of comics, and so much more! Reception prior to presentation.
