Father's Day Orienteering Event

Description

3 self-guided courses to chose from. Beginners Course a simple visual course for young beginners. Novice course allows participants to learn using a compass on a simple course. The challenging course is for groups experienced with using a compass. This course is in thick brush and briar patches. Start times for challenging course are 10 & 11. Best for ages 8 and up. Participants should come prepared. Hiking boots, long pants, hat, water, bug spray & sun screen recommended.

All courses are in sunny areas. Limited compasses available for use. Participants must preregister for event by calling the park at 941-483-5956. Space is limited.
