The YMCA of Southwest Florida Summer Camp serves children ages 5–15, with age-appropriate groupings to ensure a safe and engaging experience for every camper. Campers enjoy a wide variety of activities including sports, swimming, games, arts & crafts, STEM challenges, themed weeks, outdoor play, and character-building activities rooted in the Y’s core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
Weekly camp rates vary by camp type and location, with member discounts available and financial assistance offered to qualifying families. Camps typically run Monday–Friday during the summer months, with both half-day and full-day options depending on the program. Registration is available online, spots are limited, and early registration is encouraged to secure your child’s place.
We’re excited to offer Summer Camp at three convenient locations in Manatee County through the YMCA of Southwest Florida: the Lakewood Ranch YMCA, Buffalo Creek Middle School and the Bradenton YMCA. Each site provides the same high-quality programming, caring staff, and fun, engaging activities—giving families flexible options while ensuring every camper has a safe, memorable summer experience.
