The Manatee Performing Arts Center's Summer Youth Education Program offers 3 two-week immersive theater camps for children aged 7 to 17. Participants receive training in singing, dancing, acting, and technical design, culminating in fully staged performances. The program aims to build a community of young performers, fostering teamwork and confidence in a safe environment. Additionally, one performance from each camp is provided complimentary for area youth-at-risk as part of the For Kids by Kids program. No experience necessary! Each camp session concludes with a performance for parents and the public. The cost is $500 per student, with scholarships available.
