If you are new to our camps, welcome! We are an organization with a mission to engage and educate today's youth within the realm of S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics). Led by certified Technology Engineering teachers that utilize hands-on and experiential learning, students not only gain technical skills, but also develop skills such as critical thinking, innovation, team building, communication, problem solving, analytics, and so much more!

We offer 7 weeks of STEAM themed summer camps for students entering grades 4-7 during the 24-25 school year. Step into a classroom this summer that is truly out of this world! Our summer camps are led by certified technology engineering teachers who have a passion for not only their subjects, but for their students. Unlike other coding/computer science camps, our kiddos aren't just stuck at a computer all day. Our students will be engaging in engineering challenges, art, science, critical thinking, problem solving, citizenship, leadership skills and FUN! Our children are the future, let's grow them together.

CAMP SCHEDULE:

June 3-7 Coding with Minecraft -
REGISTER HERE
This week, students will learn the basics of coding within the world of Educational Minecraft (which they can also access at home if they are a manatee county student) They will also get an introduction as to what coding is and the format used within educational Minecraft. They will learn something different each day and have Minecraft challenges to practice/show what they learned.

June 10-14 Engineering with Minecraft -
REGISTER HERE
This week, students will learn all about various engineering concepts and get a chance to compete in engineering challenges within educational Minecraft. Examples include learning about physics/mechanical engineering through the Roller Coaster Challenge, learning about levers, switches, and electrical circuits, and even learning about various types of bridges through our Canyon Arche Bridge Challenge.

June 17-21 Coding is FUN! -
REGISTER HERE
This is a coding camp for beginner/intermediate coders! We will dive into computer science, the principles of coding, and programming. Students get to practice all of their amazing coding skills within programs like Scratch and Code.org. And if they have played a bit of scratch in school, we learn techniques that are above and beyond. They will create their own games, animations, and so much more! They can also continue their journey at home after the camp, as the logins I provide will be good for 1 year and all of the curriculum is provided.

June 24-28 VEX IQ Robotics REGISTER HERE
Get ready to unleash your inner engineer and ignite your passion for robotics at our VEXIQ Summer Camp! Calling all future innovators in grades 4-7: join us for an electrifying week of hands-on exploration, problem solving, and team work. Dive into the world of VEXIQ Robotics as you design, build, and program your own robots to tackle exciting challenges and navigate thrilling competitions. Led by certified Manatee County STEM teachers who have led their VEX students to worlds competition, this camp promises a summer packed with creativity, collaboration, and endless fun! Don’t miss out on your opportuniyt to spark your curiosity and engineer your way to success.

July 1-5 STEAM RoboticsREGISTER HERE
During this week, students learn all about robotics, their applications in the real world, and why they are a key feature of our future. Using our PiTop robotic kits, students engage in programming/coding their robots and all of the amazing sensors, such as LEDs, photoelectric, buttons, and ultrasonic. They will also dive into some awesome craft projects that can be used with the LEDs and programmed.

July 8-12 Future Engineer -
REGISTER HERE
Even though all of our camps have small engineering projects throughout the week, this week is all about learning the engineering design process, team building, and the foundations of engineering! We have a TON of fun with projects like Egg Drop, CD Hoverboard racing, Marble Run, Spaghetti Bridges, Balloon cars, and lots more! Not only do students have fun with the projects, they learn the fundamental science/engineering behind the designs.

July 15-19 Mad Scientist! -
REGISTER HERE
We are bringing in a special science teacher (also certified in tech/engineering) to lead us through an amazing week of SCIENCE! Students will have a different theme each day, conduct science experiments, create MAD science creations, and have a ton of fun while doing it! Each day will be full of fun surprises, for example on Biology Day, we have a special guest coming in to show off some pretty amazing exotic animals and talk about their habitats/life science.

Camps are Monday through Friday from 9AM to 3PM.  There is optional wrap-around care available from 8AM to 4PM. Camp is $299 per week and includes lunch/snacks, a camp t-shirt and all supplies.  Please visit our website at steamkidsofthefuture.org to register and for more information.

Business Review

"My son gave has been all-in on stem and robotics for a couple of years now. He gave his future engineers camp a 10/10! He really enjoyed the opportunity to get to know new like-minded kids (and we appreciate that interacting with lots of other kids was encouraged and promoted). He particularly enjoyed getting to use equipment like the 3D printer that he hasn't had a chance to use yet in elementary school. Every day he enjoyed coming home with something tangible to show his work. As a parent this was the most I have ever been communicated with by a camp director. Brittany was available and responsive for all my questions on the front of camp and her daily updates through the group text and day-end emails really made us feel connected to the program. I don't always feel like the money I pay for camps is worth it, but completely feel that this program is a tremendous value." ~ Jared W
