The Tinkergarten program is designed for learners ages 1.5 to 8 years old. Our child-led, play-based approach is designed to support a wide range of learners in engaging in deep, meaningful learning.
The curriculum guides learners through play experiences designed to support the development of the following 8 essential skills—all while deepening children’s connection to the natural world we all share. The 8 skills include:
• Communication
• Creativity
• Empathy
• Focus
• Persistence
• Problem Solving
• Sensory Development
• Wellness
Each and every lesson connects us to the natural world. Creatures are our teachers, and mud and sticks our tools. Each lesson is engineered to engage kids in play that they simply can’t refuse!
Kids learn best when they lead the way. We also equip grownups support children's playful learning.
The fall session takes place on Friday mornings from 10AM until 11AM and will run from 9/8 through 11/10. We will be meeting at Greenbrook Adventure Park, in Lakewood Ranch. The cost is $200/child for the session, with a sibling discount available.
