Do you want to learn how to play in a band or learn to write songs? School of Rock Lakewood Ranch offers a wide variety of music camps and workshops that cover topics such as these. Our local music camps are perfect for musicians of any skill level who want to play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals.
Join us for camp this summer!
Rookies Camp: For children 5 to 7 years old. Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns and group playing are all part of this week-long introduction to music.
Sessions: June 5-9 and June 26-30 from 9:30AM to 3:30PM.
Rock 101: Want to play in a band onstage? Our Rock 101 camp is designed for beginners 8-12 years of age. No experience necessary! Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities.
Sessions: June 12-16 and July 17-21 from 9:30AM to 3:30PM
Classic Rock Rewind: Some previous lessons necessary. Campers will learn the music of 70s and 80s rock icons such as AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and Van Halen in our Classic Rock Rewind summer camp. In addition to songs, students will learn about rock history and the stagecraft needed to perform on a stage. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
Sessions: July 10-14 from 9:30AM to 3:30PM
Camp is $525 per session.

Staff to camper ratio is 5 to 1. Campers will get individualized attention. Students do not need to own their own instruments as they will be provided. Students are welcome to bring their own guitar or bass if they prefer.
