It is a new season for Home Education. Since COVID, families around the nation have flocked to homeschooling, but in the 2025/26 year, Learning and Families is focusing on returning to the heart of home education: fostering a love of learning, inspiring curiosity, and keeping families together as they learn.

This fall, homeschoolers are flocking toward Learning and Families for the NEW Project-Based Learning opportunities – innovative and unique experiences (like video game development, podcasting, and graphic novel illustration), plus good-old, solid skills that benefit kids long into adulthood (like cooking, gardening, and woodworking). Learning and Families Support Community and Co-op offers all your home education needs, along with many of your desires.
Learning and Families Multicultural Day
LAF has designed its co-op days around three separate offerings:
1. Tuesdays are geared toward Project-Based Learning to give students opportunities they would not be able to experience at home.
2. Thursdays offer a Traditional Co-op setting, but again, focused on what students benefit from in a group setting, such as presentations, discussions, and in-class interaction.
3. Friday is the Performing & Worship Arts Day, hosting a Theatre Program and Dance classes for dancers of all ages, plus group piano and innovative worship opportunities. All of this takes place within a safe and godly environment.

Learning and Families Prom
LAF has been in existence for nearly 40 years, offering the Suncoast homeschool community classes, support, and social/academic opportunities for home education families from nursery through twelfth grade. Come join us, and let’s link arms in the amazing home education journey.
Learning and Families Graduation
Friday, August 8th, is an opportunity to visit us in person and see what we are all about and meet many other home education vendors and partners. Classes begin September 9th.
