There is only so much that can be learned from browsing a website or reading reviews. An in-person visit provides the opportunity for understanding through physical experience and personal interaction. Please join us for an Open House where you will see Montessori classrooms, speak with our faculty and learn about the benefits and advantages of a Montessori education. Or come for a Visitors Day where you will speak with our Administrator, take a tour of the school and see our outdoor space that provides stress-reducing connections to nature, observe in a Montessori classroom and then have a Q&A with the classroom's teacher.
Center Montessori School was founded in 1976 and is owned and operated by the original family. Offering classes with trained and certified Montessori teachers, and extremely low turnover of faculty and staff, Center Montessori School is also a Positive Discipline Lab School giving children the opportunity to develop essential executive function and life skills needed for our future. With the starting point focusing on the child's experience at school, students become independent, critical thinkers, curious collaborators, and scientifically minded. The education offered is comprehensive, covering topics from reading, writing and development of the mathematical mind to botany and geography. Faculty and the educational environment offer a sincere focus and support on the whole child through individualized attention in a warm and caring community that invites communication and collaboration with parents.
Center Montessori School educates children ages 18 months through 8th grade. For the 2025-2026 school year, the 7th and 8th grade classes are full with a waiting list.
