The Back Nine (B9) Golf – Bradenton, is a premier facility that encourages families to enjoy realistic golf in an indoor private setting without all the stress of taking the kids to the course. At the B9 you are able to have your whole family play or practice golf in a bay which features the best golf simulation available. Full Swing ttps://www.fullswinggolf.com/ automation allows the kids to play golf in perfect weather and in a defined space dedicated to your family and simulates accurately each golf shot.
We plan to sponsor kids camp during spring break March 17-20, 2025, and then again during the sweltering summer months. Camps will be split by age group.
- The 6–9 years old group will enjoy playing at 9-10:00am at which time they will play “Velcro” golf where the kids use plastic clubs to hit a sticky ball aimed at the professional instructor to see if the ball “sticks” to him – no pressure, extremely fun and safe for all. All kids can continue playing “Velcro” for the next three days at the same time each day. For those that excel, if parents wish and the child has an interest, we will move them to a private bay the next day to try a real golf club and ball to see if those skills are transferrable. For those parents interested in introducing their kids to golf, this is an excellent format.
- The second age group, 10–12 years old, will play from 10-11am using real golf clubs/balls as the professional instructor teaches them the basic golf swing and allows the kids to learn on their own and they can hit as many balls as time permits. This format will continue for the next three days.
- The third age group, 13–15 years old, will play from 12-1:00pm with more detailed complimentary instruction from our pro each day.
For parents who either want to introduce golf to their kids or those currently working with their kids on golf, the camp is an excellent way to advance their golf skills. We encourage parents to bring their own clubs and experience the best golf simulation in the business – parents, we will work you in!! As many members have discovered, this is a great way to spend time with the kids in a relaxed, safe, clean and family friendly environment.
