A Summer of Learning and Fun with STEAM Kids of the Future

Camps now enrolling!

February 26, 2025

Step into a classroom this summer that is truly out of this world! Our summer camps are led by certified technology engineering teachers who have a passion for not only their subjects, but for their students. Unlike other coding camps, our kiddos aren't just stuck at a computer all day. Our students will be engaging in engineering challenges, art, science, critical thinking, problem solving, citizenship, leadership skills and FUN! Our children are the future, let's grow them together.

Camp Dates / Themes:

June 2-6 Coding with Minecraft

  • Students will dive into Minecraft coding, learn all about the fundamentals and basics of block coding, learn the basics of logic and code building, and participate in Minecraft coding challenges! But student's will not just be sitting at a screen all day, they will also participate in fun and engaging critical thinking activities, hands on ice-breakers, and diving into various engineering projects. Engineering projects may consist of spaghettis stick/marshmallow bridge building, science experiments, and creating their own Minecraft worlds/characters out of supplies.

June 9-13 Engineering with Minecraft

  • Students will learn all about various engineering concepts and get a chance to compete in engineering challenges within educational minecraft. Examples include learning about physics/mechanical engineering through the Roller Coaster Challenge, learning about levers, switches, and electrical circuits, and even learning about various types of bridges through our Canyon Arche Bridge Challenge.

June 16-20 Coding is FUN!

  • Students will dive into coding, learn all about the fundamentals and basics of block coding, learn the basics of logic and code building, and participate in scratch coding challenges! But student's will not just be sitting at a screen all day, they will also participate in fun and engaging critical thinking activities, hands on ice-breakers, and diving into various engineering projects. Engineering projects may consist of spaghettis stick/marshmallow bridge building, science experiments, and creating their own scratch characters out of supplies.

June 23-27 Future Engineer

  • Students will dive into Engineering! They will learn about the engineering design process, CAD (Computer Aided Design) designing, and 3D printing.  Students will also participate in fun and engaging critical thinking activities, hands on ice-breakers, and diving into various engineering projects. Projects may include spaghetti stick bridges, paper tower challenge, lego design challenges, rocket competition, flight, and more!

June 30 - July 4 Mad Scientist

  • Get ready, we are bringing in a special science teacher (also certified in tech/engineering) to lead us through an amazing week of SCIENCE! Students will have a different theme each day, conduct science experiments, create MAD science creations, and have a ton of fun while doing it! Each day will be full of fun surprises, for example on Biology day, we have a special guest coming in to show off some pretty amazing exotic animals and talk about their habitats/life science.

July 7-11 VEX IQ Robotics 1

  • Get ready to unleash your inner engineer and ignite your passion for robotics at our VEXIQ Summer Camp! Calling all future innovators in grades 4-7: join us for an electrifying week of hands-on exploration, problem solving, and team work. Dive into the world of VEXIQ Robotics as you design, build, and program your own robots to tackle exciting challenges and navigate thrilling competitions. Led by certified Manatee County STEM teachers who have led their VEX students to worlds competition, this camp promises a summer packed with creativity, collaboration, and endless fun!
