Theory of Play, an indoor playground and activity center, specializes in fostering play, clubs, and childhood connections in their 3,000 sq ft oasis for the often-overlooked age group of 4 to 10 years old. With a focus on creating engaging spaces that meet the needs of both children and parents, it offers the ultimate balance—providing designated work hubs or relaxation zones in separate, thoughtfully designed areas. It's the perfect harmony of play and peace for families. Imagine not having to choose or stress about work when your child is happily playing in a safe, stimulating environment. It’s a much-needed break for children of the desk-bound age, while parents have the freedom to relax, play, or continue working. In addition to its endless open play hours, whether homeschooled or Afterschool this all-inclusive membership includes clubs, unlimited open play, buddy passes for friends, free events and respite for parents! Theory of Play offers drop-in play sessions, no reservation required; allowing you to experience the magic with no commitment.

- Camp-fit & Homeschool Hangouts - Every Thursday 9:30AM to 11AM. Weekly Homeschool Hangouts and Bi-Weekly Camp-Fit Classes. Camp -FIt participation is optional but so much fun! Looking for a unique, engaging, and educational way to spend Thursday mornings with your homeschooler? Theory of Play is excited to announce the launch of Homeschool Hangout Days! This exciting new program is designed specifically for homeschool families, and runs every Thursday from 9:30 – 11:00 am, with extended hours for members to enjoy unlimited play.
- Art Kids Club/ Class- Tuesdays 4PM to 5PM Ages 5- 10. The Art Club is a great way for kids to engage with their artistic side while connecting with like-minded peers. Each week, children will work on a creative art project inspired by our Artist of the Month and guided by Ms. Stephanie, a passionate art student from the renowned Ringling School of Art and Design. After the project, children will have the opportunity to enjoy our 6 Playscapes, filled with 75+ activities that change monthly, giving them time to play, explore, and burn off some energy.
Theory Of Play has NOT forgotten about the pinnacle transition age of 3- 4 years!
They understand that your children may not yet be ready for the large play spaces with much bigger kids, yet the toddler classes seem to be outgrowing them. They recognize the crucial need to foster confidence and social-emotional development during this key phase, ensuring a balanced transition as children explore new environments and opportunities. While Theory Of Play continues to grow, it currently offers two amazing classes for this age group:
- Music, Movement & Art & Play takes place every Friday from 9:30AM to 10:45AM and welcomes walk-ins for trial classes before deciding to join the fun on a monthly basis. What others may call a 'class pack,' Theory of Play offers a 'Toddler Transition Membership". Led by Early Educator and the original founder of The Learning Cottage, Ms. Ashley, this dynamic class is designed for children to engage in a variety of activities. They’ll love moving between gross motor music and movement times, while also benefiting from consistent routines that nurture social skills, reading, and creativity through crafts. The class ends with 30–45 minutes of open-ended play, providing an enriching experience. As the class continues to grow, they continue to offer space, but to ensure the best experience for your child, they cap the class at 12 kiddos. Calling ahead to reserve your space for walk-ins is recommended, but it’s not required.
- NEW FREE TRIAL class Alert! - Fitness Stars, In Partnership with Stretch N Grow SRQ: REGISTER HERE Get your little ones moving, playing, and having fun! Theory of Play is offering a FREE 30-minute trial class for children ages 3-5 on Wednesday, January 22nd, from 9:30AM to 10AM. The first 30 minutes of the class are completely free, giving parents a chance to experience the fun. Led by CERTIFIED instructors who will guide children through a high-energy class that incorporates music, games, and a variety of physical activities designed to promote endurance, strength, flexibility, and the development of essential motor skills. With engaging activities that are fun and educational, this class provides the perfect opportunity for kids to develop both physically and socially. Stay for the Fun by using the drop-in rate afterward! After the initial 30-minute class, children are invited to stay for an additional 60 minutes of open P.L.A.Y. time in our Playscape Oasis – a safe, dynamic space filled with six ever-changing playscapes and over 75+ activities designed to spark imagination and creativity.
