Who doesn't love parades? Whether marching down the street or through the water, parades are such a fun time for everyone. Lucky for us there are a number of holiday themed parades to enjoy locally this year!
Nov 9 | 6PM to 10PM ~ Santa's Grand Arrival Parade: Delight in an entertaining evening featuring Santa’s Grand Arrival Parade, the first light show of the season, a dazzling fireworks display, a special after-party performance and so much more! FREE.
Nov 30 | 2PM to 7:30PM ~ Siesta Key Light up the Village Parade: Meet and greet with Santa from 2PM to 4PM (complimentary pictures and gift bags for the first 250 kids) followed by the annual parade starting at 5:30PM. FREE.
Nov 30 | 2PM to 9PM ~ Jiggs Landing Boat Parade: Join us for the annual boat parade. Festivities start at 3PM. More info to follow. FREE.
Nov 30 | 6:30PM to 9PM ~ Venice Holiday Parade: Join us for the annual parade at 6:30PM. Pre-parade entertainment starts at 5:30PM. FREE.
Dec 7 | 7:30PM ~ 8th Annual Jeep Parade: The route will bring us out to AMI on Manatee, then turn south at Publix onto Gulf of Mexico Drive traveling through Bradenton Beach down to Coquina Beach and then continue south through Longboat Key.
Dec 7 | 7PM to 10PM ~ Sarasota Holiday Parade: This year's theme is "Holidays for Heroes". See 4,000 participants including lighted floats, high school marching bands. FREE.
Dec 7 |3PM to 7PM (North Port) ~ Poinsettia Parade and Festival: Features the annual tree lighting ceremony as well as mobile food vendors, entertainment, attractions, merchandise vendors, and much more.
Dec 14 | 7PM to 10PM ~ Manatee River Holiday Boat Parade: As the county’s largest holiday event of the year, thousands of area residents and traveling spectators flock to the river to experience the magic. FREE.
