More Than 300 Free Events at Learning Festival in Sarasota

April 20 - May 4

April 24, 2024

Suncoast Remake Learning Days is here! This free 15-day learning festival featuring more than 300 events for children and families is currently underway across Charlotte, DeSoto, Manatee, and Sarasota counties. Jump in on the fun and explore creative ways to learn!

What types of events are there?

There are more than 300 hands-on events and activities to choose from! The events are organized by learning themes, including Arts, Maker, Outdoor Learning, Science, Technology, and Youth Voice. Children and caregivers will be able to build a robot, paint a masterpiece, explore the outdoors, or even 3D print!

You can build a fort, meet a tortoise, and guide a remote operated vehicle underwater at Robinson Preserve NEST. Aspiring athletes can hit it out of the park at a Baseball Clinic by FL Bulldogs Baseball. Transform into a Mad Scientist by conducting exciting science experiments at the William H. Jervey Library. Or even become a marine biologist for a day at Ocean Odyssey as you work with Mote Marine and USF Sarasota-Manatee using field and lab techniques!

Additionally, there will be professional development opportunities for school, out-of-school, child care, and non-traditional educators. Read the full event guide for more details or download the 2024 Suncoast Remake Learning Days app to plan your schedule.

When, where, and who?

Events will take place all throughout Charlotte, DeSoto, Manatee, and Sarasota counties now through Sunday, May 4. Thanks to the generosity of The Patterson Foundation, all of these hands-on learning experiences will be free and open to the public.

Let’s remake learning together!
