Select dates Sep - Dec ~ Haunted History Walking Tour: This 75-minute tour is packed with history and ghost stories. We’ll also share ghost hunting tips and tricks. You’ll even have an opportunity to catch your own ghost by using real paranormal investigation tools. Hosted by Venice Florida Tours. $20 per person.
Select dates in Oct ~ Dr. Pineapple's Haunted Laboratory Murder Mystery Dinner: Hilarious and fun interactive mystery show for ages 21+. Each guest will be assigned a character in advance and encouraged to come in costume. Reserved tickets of $94++ includes a chef-inspired four-course meal, one complimentary glass of wine or beer, and coffee or tea.
Oct 13-31 ~ Lights at Spooky Point: Don’t miss the chance to see our Historic Spanish Point campus transformed into “Spooky Point” where you can follow an eerily lit path and encounter fantastic creations and bootanically-themed decorations along the way. Equal parts creepy, campy, and cute, this walk-through show is fun for all ages. Entry times each night is at 6:30PM and 7:45PM. Tickets are $30 for adults ($20 for Selby Gardens members), $15 for ages 5-17, and free for children 4 and under.

Oct 14 (all other dates SOLD OUT) ~ Dr Pineapple's Spooky Laboratory Family Children's Mystery Show and Southern Brunch: Family Fun mystery show for ages 3 years and up. Children and adults will be assigned characters in advance with costume suggestions. Reserved ticket price of $60++ includes interactive mystery show admission and a southern cuisine brunch.
Oct 14 ~ Spooktacular PNO at EVO Gymnastics: Kids will enjoy 3 hours of spooky fun including games, a costume party, open gym and pizza. $40 for members / $50 for non-members. 6PM to 9PM.
Oct 14-15 ~ Fall Fete Holiday Market 2023: Shop 80+ local artists and merchants (indoors and outdoors) with vintage, unique and one-of-a-kind gifts and decor for the holiday season. The event is family-friendly with a food truck rally, live music, picnic area, pumpkin patch and kids' activities. General admission is $6. 10AM to 4PM.
Oct 14 and 28 ~ Cemetery Tours: Join us for a free hour-long tour of the 1850 Manatee Burying Grounds led by a member of Manatee Village's staff. Tours cover different facets of life during Manatee's Founding Period (1840-1918) as well as stories of those buried in the burying grounds. Tours at 9:30AM and 11AM. Oct 26-28 ~ The Legend of Sleepy Hollow: Performed by The Players Centre at the Sarasota Polo Field Grounds. This festive play follows new schoolmaster Ichabod Crane as he arrives in Sleepy Hollow. He contends with ghost stories, winning the heart of the wealthy Katrina, and dealing with his rival for her affections Brom Bones. And of course, we can’t forget the appearance of one of the most famous ghosts in America, the Headless Horseman. This story is based off the short story by Washington Irving. Each night there will be a costume contest! Tickets: Adult-$25 / Kids-$10
