We had a vision in July of 2022 to start a company with our family to show our children the value of building something yourself and the challenges you have to overcome.
We also believed, now more than ever, small businesses need to thrive and become the way of life. Too many large corporations dictate how not only how their employees should live but the remainder of us as well.
The purpose of a small business goes beyond providing monetary value to your family. It brings jobs into the market and the local community; it provides a quality product that provides multiple jobs for those who create it. Take coffee for example. The coffee bean has to be farmed, which creates wealth for small farms, the product has to be shipped, which creates business, the product has to be bagged, which the bags have to be created, the coffee goes through a broker, which employed staff, and so forth.
We chose coffee as we valued the hard work and ethic behind the farms that source and create the product. The whole process is amazing to watch. Education will be our focus on not only how the coffee is sourced, but as well as how to brew for perfection, with families at home in mind.
We chose to be different by roasting our own beans and selling the beans and coffee drinks. We wanted to educate the consumer from beginning to end and what better way to do that then roasting ourselves, with our family.
