Did you know?

Rhea Lana’s is a huge consignment event that happens twice per year in Manatee County.  Children’s gently outgrown items are consigned by hundreds of local families.  Selling children’s items on consignment means you prepare your items so they look their best, choose your prices, enter your items into our app and bring them to us on drop off day.  We do the rest…you do not have to be present at the sale to receive a check after the sale.  Consignors earn 65-75% of their sales.

Consigning your items is Eco-friendly.  Most children’s items have lots of life left in them when they are outgrown.  Toys (with all their parts) and baby equipment and gear are huge sellers. Items are priced anywhere from 60-80% of retail pricing and are checked for completeness and recalls prior to the event.

Clothing (we are currently accepting items in great condition in sizes Newborn all the way up to trendy teen clothing).  We are even accepting women’s athleisure this event in the following brands only:  Lululemon, Athleta, Zyia, and VS Pinks. Shoppers look for everything from trendy brands to everyday play clothes, PJs, swimsuits, holiday outfits and really great shoes/sandals.

Five Things You May Not Know about Consigning:

1️. You can choose to donate your unsold items at the end of the sale and we'll distribute them to local foster families, and local organizations that support children and families.

2. Your participation as a consignor supports a local, small business owner.

3. Learn the consigning process once & you'll have a long running staple when it comes to selling your gently used children's items.

4. Most children's items have a lot of life left in them. Consigning is a great eco-friendly option.

5. You don't have to figure it all out on your own, we're here to help!

There’s a Rhea Lana’s of Manatee County Consignor Club Group on Facebook where you can see visuals, how-to videos, and ask questions.  There are hundreds of experienced consignors who will be there to help answer them.  Tips and tricks galore and lots of visual resources are available.

No time to prepare your items?  We will consign them for you.  VIP Consignors earn 35-45% of sales.  Your VIP processor will pick up your great baby and children’s items, hang, tag, prep, price, enter, label and check them into the convention center for you.  Hurry, these spots are limited.  Here’s more information on VIP service.

Admission is free on public sale days (August 28 - September 1) and for those who know how to save big, there is a private PreSale before it opens to the public.  PreSale Tickets can be purchased at Eventbrite.com.  PreSale tickets now allow shoppers to bring a guest with them so two friends can shop for the price of one.  Yes, Rhea Lana’s has gone BOGO but tickets are limited and selling fast.  There are also free PreSale passes for Families expecting through birth or adoption, Military, Healthcare Heroes and Teachers with ID which can be obtained via the https://www.manatee.rhealana.com website and on the Facebook Event Page.

To sum it up:

Hundreds of local families get fair prices for clearing their children’s items and other families save big on the next items needed for their growing families.  Nothing in the landfill, lots of people shopping for children’s items so sales are greater than any other method of decluttering, and big discounts for hard working families…Everybody Wins!
