Summer is here which means it is time for the 3rd Annual Bradenton Macaroni Kid Gold Daisy Awards! What are the best family friendly businesses around? Throughout the year, Bradenton Macaroni Kid brings you the scoop. Now it is YOUR turn to tell us YOUR family’s top go-to choices to enrich, entertain and EXHAUST your kids. We want to know about the businesses that just plain make your life easier as a parent! Let’s make this a FUN way to highlight the wonderful local businesses that make Manatee County a fabulous place to live, shop, eat and play!
How Do You Get Started?
From now through June 14, simply nominate your favorite businesses! Nominate as many or as few businesses as you would like in each category. Businesses must be located in Manatee County (including Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Palmetto, Parrish, Ellenton and the Bradenton beaches) Only one submission per email address please. Nominations will close on June 14 and then the final vote will begin on June 22 to find the very BEST!!

What's In It For You?
Nominate and vote for your favorite businesses and you will be entered for a chance to win a $25.00 gift card to a local business of your choice, compliments of Bradenton Macaroni Kid. We will draw a winner at the end of the contest.
What's In It For The Businesses?
We will announce the winners of each category in an upcoming issue in August. The winning business in each category will be featured in our EXCLUSIVE Gold Daisy newsletter, will receive one week of a FREE feature article highlighting their business, will receive FREE placement in our "Gold Daisy Best of the Best" section of our Business Directory for 2017-2018, will receive a 2017-2018 Macaroni Kid Gold Daisy Awards certificate to display at their place of business and will have the honor of knowing that local Manatee County area families think they are the greatest! RULES: Only one submission per email address. The nomination period will run from Thursday, June 1 at 6:00 AM through Wednesday, June 14 at 11:59 PM. The voting period will run from Thursday, June 22 at 6:00 AM through Tuesday, July 18 at 11:59 PM. All eligible persons nominating and voting in the 2017-2018 Bradenton Macaroni Kid Gold Daisy Awards will be entered to win a $25 gift card to a local Manatee County business of their choice. The drawing for the gift card will take place at the end of the contest. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries. The winner will be notified by email and will have 48 hours to claim the prize. You MUST be a subscriber and over 18 to nominate and vote. If you are not a subscriber and enter the contest, you will be automatically subscribed.
