It’s 1945 & the end of WWII; The Powel Crosley Estate hosts a “USO Homecoming” that will highlight the types of programing Powel Crosley sent out over the airwaves from his radio station in Cincinatti!
Studio A - “The Hometown Heroines”(performed in the Great Room) Written & Directed by Eileen Earnest
Join Mary, Linda, and Barbara as they regale you in the Great Hall Canteen with the songs of the 1940’s. It’s toe tapping music from an era that will certainly get you into the “Swing of Things” as well as “Into the Mood”.
Studio B –“These are the Soap Suds of Our Lives” (performed in Gwendolyn’s Room) Powel was always pleased to showcase his “brand new” style of dramatic presentation exclusively for radio networks everywhere…The “Soap Opera”!!!
Studio C – “Penumbra Murder Mystery Theatre” (performed in the Library) Written by Tom Zakoyko.
Who Knows? Who dunnit? Who dies? Who Murders? And Who Solves it all? Only Professor Doctor Esquire III knows!!! Maybe?!?!
