The Insane Inflatable 5K, a fun fitness run series made up of inflatable obstacles and taking place in over 120 cities across the United States and Canada. The event is coming to Sarasota, FL on March 4th, as announced by Stuart Kaul, Senior Director, Insane Inflatable 5K.

The Insane Inflatable 5K is designed to be accessible to everyone, no matter where you are in your fitness journey – from competitive runners looking for a different type of challenge, to weekend warriors looking for the next great obstacle run, and even those armchair athletes looking to try something fun and new. The 3.1-mile long course is outfitted with 11+ extreme inflatable obstacles and offers an exhilarating stroll throughout the unique terrain of the Premier Sports Complex.

The oversized, custom-designed inflatable obstacles combine imagination, creativity, and most importantly a large dose of fun, coupled with a touch of insanity. The signature inflatables range in size – some towering 26 feet tall – and complexity, and participants will climb, weave and maneuver their way through challenges like “Jump Around,” the largest inflatable of its kind with more than 70 feet of bounce pad, “Crash Course” where they dodge and push through hanging obstacles from start to finish, while making their way up and down through the obstacle’s peaks and valleys, and “Finish Line,” the most awe-inspiring inflatable of the event where participants dodge wrecking balls, make their way past the tipsy towers, climb the rope ladder, and slide their way to victory.

Beyond the obstacles, the Insane Inflatable 5k will have a “Midway” where participants and viewers alike can enjoy games, food, beverages, merchandise, and swag from local vendors and sponsors.

The Sarasota event, taking place at the Premier Sports Complex on Saturday, March 4th will kick off at approximately 8:30 a.m. with the first wave, and additional waves will run concurrently until noon or 1:00 p.m.

Registration fees, which include an event T-shirt and medal upon completion, range from $49 for advance registration to $75 for day of event registration to $100 for an All Access pass. Children are welcome to participate, with a minimum height requirement of 42”.
