Rowlett Middle is committed to expanding the educational legacy that began at Rowlett Elementary Academy. With a limited enrollment of less than 600 students, your child will receive a personalized, 21st century education that not only exceeds the high expectations set by our state's middle school curriculum but is enhanced by our unique integration of arts, communication, and leadership skills to ensure the success of our students.

Rowlett Middle is committed to helping students find their best path, so there is no shortage of academic opportunities. Students can earn up to 6 high school credits through our advanced and gifted courses. We also offer academic assistance to students who may need a little extra assistance to reach their goals.

Rowlett Middle Academy students dedicate themselves to the study of visual and performing arts, communication, and/or technology through programs that include:

  • Dance
  • Music: Band, Orchestra, Choir
  • Theatre
  • Visual Arts: 2D, 3D, Digital Art
  • Communication Arts: TV Production, Film
  • Physical Education
  • Foreign Language

In addition to an exciting arts program, RMA will also offer a wide variety of athletic opportunities.

Under the leadership of Mr. Jamara Clark and Mr. Brian Flynn, students, families, and staff will work together to create a thriving, educational community. Because of the vital role parental involvement plays in the success of a student, all parents are encouraged to volunteer, join the Rowlett Middle Family Association, and serve on one or more of many committees that contribute to the successful operation of our school.
