Your kids need a hair cut - where do you go? For an unforgettably fun experience, take them to Lil Divas and Dudes. They will have a blast!
Welcome to the Jungle! Kids will know they are in for a treat right when they walk in the door. The salon is decorated in a fun jungle theme with snakes and monkeys hanging off the ceiling and even a huge alligator head.
After checking in with the desk, I enjoyed a complimentary coffee and muffin and the kids were entertained in the play area with various puzzles and books. The kids were pretty excited to get their hair cut and it's not hard to see why. Instead of salon chairs, kids can chose to drive a sports car or fly a plane. And if they get tired of driving they can pick out a movie to watch on their own personal DVD or look at a variety of books. Kids can be fidgety and never sit still, so it was nice to have stylists who were very patient and made sure the kids were happy and preoccupied before cutting their hair. Plus the haircuts turned out great! Happy kids - happy mom! The price of the haircut - $17 - was very reasonable given all the extras during the visit!
Regular salon chairs are available as well for older children.

Ready to Party
Lil Divas and Dudes also boasts a party room and puts on a pretty fun party! 
I hosted my Back to School party here and the kids had a blast. As I mentioned before, there are four different themes you can pick from. I chose the Rock Star theme which was perfect for my energetic group. The party started off with pizza and cupcakes - yummy!! Then the kids could create special craft bags which they filled with goodies from the party bins at the end of the party. The kids loved getting the ultimate rock-a-holic treatment. Girls got wild pig tails with fun colors and glitter along with crazy make-up and polished nails.
Don't forget about the boys! They had a blast at the party too with colored spikes and mowhawks. 
No rockin' party is complete without a dance party! Once everyone was turned into "rock stars", we turned off the lights and turned on the disco ball! The kids boogied the afternoon away to the hippest kid friendly tunes.

Lil Divas and Dudes is located at 8415 Honore Avenue in Bradenton. Appointments are strongly encouraged by calling 941-359-1396 but walk-ins are accommodated when possible. Lil Divas and Dudes hours are Tuesday through Friday 10AM to 6PM and Saturday 9AM to 5PM. They are closed on Sunday and Monday.
