๐ STEAM Kids of the Future Summer Camp is a hands-on, engaging summer experience for students in grades 4–7, designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (S.T.E.A.M.). Led by certified Technology & Engineering teachers, our camps use project-based, experiential learning so students learn by building, designing, experimenting, coding, and creating every day.
๐ ๏ธ Each week features a unique theme that allows students to explore different areas of STEAM:
โญMad Scientist Adventures ๐งชโ๏ธ๐ฌ: Explore a different branch of science every day such as chemistry, physics, and science through exciting hands-on experiments. We will have slime labs, rocket launches, and even a life science day where students can interact with real animals from Second Chance Ranch!
โญFuture Engineers Academy โ๏ธ๐ ๏ธ๐ก A week of engineering design challenges, innovation, and real-world problem solving. One of their favorite activities is learning CAD design and 3d printing.
โญ๐งโ๏ธ ๐Calling all Minecraft Fans! We offer 2 weeks of Minecraft camp- both with LIMITED screen time utilizing Minecraft Education- enjoying challenges on screen, but more importantly, themed projects off screen!
โญMinecraft Engineering Academy ๐งฑโ๏ธ๐ฅ๏ธ emphasizes logic systems, planning, and engineering concepts. Work together in teams to do some amazing Minecraft engineering challenges! Also, learn some block coding and stellar command codes, sure to level up your play!
โญMinecraft STEAM Quest ๐ฎ๐ง ๐จ Embark on a week long quest challenging our students to get creative with a blend of science, engineering, art, and design- both on and off screen.
โญMaster Builders Camp ๐๏ธ๐งฑ๐ Builders and creators will thrive this week, where students design, test, and redesign structures using a variety of materials such as lego, construction materials, and more!
โญVEX IQ Robotics Foundations๐ค๐ง๐ป Designed for an introduction to robotics and coding, and an overall intro to VEXIQ.
โญVEX IQ Robotics Elite Lab ๐๐คโ๏ธ This advanced camp is designed specifically for students with prior VEX IQ experience and those who are currently competing—or planning to compete—during the upcoming school year. Campers will gain exclusive early access to the brand-new 2026–2027 VEX IQ game, giving them a competitive edge before the season even begins. Students will refine their building, coding, and strategy skills while learning directly from top VEX educators in Manatee County, helping them build confidence, mastery, and a true advantage going into competition.
โฐ Camps run Monday–Friday from 9:00AM to 3:00PM and cost $299 per week, which includes daily snacks and all camp, engineering, robotics, and activity supplies. Optional wrap-around care is available from 8:00AM to 4:00PM for families needing extended hours. Families may register for one or multiple weeks, selecting themes that best match their child’s interests.
๐ STEAM Kids of the Future operates at two locations, with weekly themes staggered between campuses. This flexible model allows families to choose the location and weeks that work best for their schedule — and even attend multiple weeks across both locations if desired. Locations now:
- Braden River Middle School ~ Technology Engineering Lab Room 605. Located at 6215 River Club Blvd, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202.
- Harvey K-8 at North RiverRanch. Located at 11620 North River Trail, Parrish, FL 34219.
